Today, a launching ceremony was held at Özata Shipyard for the pilot and service boat, measuring 17 meters in length and 5 meters in width.

The pilot and service boat which is named as “Ali İhsan Aldoğan,” built for the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, was launched at Özata Shipyard at 13:00 today.

The launching ceremony of the pilot and service boat took place with the participation of Hızır Reis, the Director General of Coastal Safety, Metin Oral, the Mayor of Altınova Municipality, Directors of Coastal Safety, and the chairmen of the surrounding shipyard board of directors.

The pilot and service boat, with dimensions of 17 meters in length and 5 meters in width, has a capacity of 20 passengers. The boat is capable of reaching a speed of 20 knots.
